5Great Item!!
By Crash
This is the second unit I bought since owning mine for about 6 months. Second one is a gift for my son. It's the fastest, easiest way to cook rice and the stainless steel tub and steamer means chemical free cooking so I won't go senile in my old age!

3Great Product but Could be Improved
By James Mcritchie
We bought this rice cooker because we were concerned about aluminium seeping into our food from the old rice cooker. The stainless steal at least feels safer. Unlike the old cooker, I don't need to put it in the sink to avoid splatters and cooking times may be a minute or two shorter. However, I don't like the little piece of plastic used to hold on the inner stainless steel lid. What's the point of avoiding aluminium and plastic cookers if the stainless steel cooker has a little rubbery plastic gismo that is constantly getting steamed. It doesn't appear to be effecting the taste but why not just use a simple wing-nut? Additionally, stainless steal doesn't conduct heat as evenly, so you get a little more rice dried out and stuck to the bottom. It is easy enough to get off after soaking overnight but they might solve this problem by cladding the bottom of the pot with copper. I'd be willing to pay a higher price for a cooker with both these features.

5Good rice cooker
By Denise
The stainless rice cooker was purchased as a gift for our son and daughter-in-law. They wanted to avoid aluminum cookers and non-stick finishes. They have used it several times to cook rice and steel-cut oats and are quite satisfied. I will be purchasing another unit as a gift for our daughter and family.
